"The life of Anna in London under Nigel Farage dictatorship"

A great friend of mine has urged me to keep the story alive after these two sentences:

"In modern Britain, slavery can hide in plain sight. Follow the true story of Anna, a young woman snatched from London in broad daylight".

Halcombe has agreed to write the fictional story of Anna after this introduction. 

THE LIFE OF ANNA IN LONDON UNDER NIGEL FARAGE DICTATORSHIP

Anna had arrived in London 12 years prior to this day. She could not stand the situation of Andalucía (South of Spain) where there were zero opportunities for her. Indeed, her husband was not able to find a suitable job. 

The husband of Anna did spend the entire day drinking manzanilla, a popular kind of drink. The one people from Southern Spain are used to drink.

As a result, Anna packed her suitcases and left her husband and her family in order to live in London. One of the best cities in the world, perhaps the best if we take into account its history.

Anna had studied at the University, she owned two degrees. She was a Maths teacher, yet as she was a foreigner with a strange accent, she had to work as a waitress. Despite her efforts, she could not find a job as a Maths teacher. However,  the real problem came the day Brexit took place...

NIGEL FARAGE

Nigel Farage only wanted to have a good job. He had a small political party and his strategy was a good one. One day regardless, something incredibly did happen. In fact, Brexit took place and the two major British political parties, Labour and Tory, broke apart. 

After some years, an agreement came, thereby, both Labour and Tory parties vanished. Indeed, Nigel Farage did vanquish the two major British political parties.

Nigel Farage became the most important politician in Britain. He became a modern dictator of Britain because of the whole Brexit issue. Therefore, he decided to get rid of Greeks, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian people as they belong to the PIGS (minor countries inside Southern Europe). 

But he did not get rid of his wives. In fact, while male immigrants from Italy, Portugal, Greece, and Spain had to leave all his wives kept working in a new, insular Britain where Nigel Farage became a new kind of dictator, a modern one.

Women from Portugal, Greece, Spain, and Italy not only were slaves in modern Britain.  They also had to do anything Nigel Farage wanted as he deemed British people superior.

One of those girls was Anna. Her husband was waiting on her in Andalucía drinking manzanilla and listening to flamenco, yet Anna kept working in an Irish pub worshipping Nigel Farage.

One day though, whilst she was coming back from work to her flat a group of Japanese rappers kidnapped her.

All of a sudden, Anna saw the way to end her slavery notwithstanding... What is more, because of these Japanese hip-hop stars she thought was going to be able to restore the dignity in London and Andalucía...

SHARPENER OF DEADLY KNIVES

The reader already knows Halcombe lives in a rural part of Spain. People tend to have nicknames. My real name is Alberto Gonzalo. Gonzalo is my surname but as it sounds cool my sister would call me Gonzalo. 

Likewise, people in High School did too. However, my pen name is Halcombe, the name I use to write. What is more, my real name is a sign in Sign Language because my parents are deaf.

Nevertheless, life has this kind of issues. Now I have a new nickname, a modern one. It has nothing to say with regards to my real name (Alberto Gonzalo or sign language) nor with my writing skills (Halcombe). My new nickname is serious, it is a serious matter. 

Sharpener of Deadly Knives

" El Afilador de Cuchillos asesinos" something like "Sharpener of killer knives". The explanation is simple. A great friend of mine killed 25 people with a knife. Nobody can assure this, Halcombe aside. 

Whether this is true or not, only Halcombe can tell. In fact, my beloved friend told me about this in a private meeting at his house.

Unlike Britain, where the personal lives of public personalities tend to be deeply scrutinized. In France by contrast, Prime Ministers tend to have lovers. Francois Hollande, who is not extremely handsome, to say the least, had a lover (Julie Gayet, an actress who is now his official partner). Nicholas Sarkozy, for instance, started a relationship with 90s supermodel Carla Bruni. Indeed, he stopped working in order to travel with her to Egypt. Even Jacques Chirac had lovers. Prior to anything, we ought to convey that the private life of a person is a private matter. Thereby, nobody should make a big deal of the private life of a person. 

However, in countries such as the United States or Britain, this is something people and media especially pay notice when it comes to politics. This is why France has always had this peculiar way of life insofar as French top politicians enjoy the company of lovers.

Hence, the case of Emmanuel Macron can sound bizarre. In real terms not having a lover may not sound strange. What is strange nevertheless is the age of his wife, Brigitte Macron. 

In fact, Brigitte, apart from having 3 children from another relationship, is 65 years of age. She is only slightly younger than the president of the United States, Donald Trump. What is more, Brigitte Macron is his former High School teacher. Macron is 40 years now.

It was funny to discover how the wife of Macron seemed the wife of Trump when the president of France and the president of America met for the first time. Trump proving he can be a gentleman said that Brigitte Macron is "beautiful". The truth is everybody thought Melania and Macron were the real couple instead.

Emmanuel Macron is a good politician or this is what was thought when he was chosen as president. 

The positive aspect regarding his victory is he was able to vanquish Front National. This party wanted France outside the European Union. However, we ought to explain that in real terms, the French electoral system stopped Marine Le Pen from reaching the presidency.

Notwithstanding the relevant victory of Macron over Le Pen, what I was not able to understand and even accept is former French president, Francois Hollande, who defeated brilliant Sarkozy, did not fight for reelection. 

Something that is inconceivable. Now, Manuel Valls, former minister of Hollande, wants to rule Barcelona. This is a very clever political move because it can make France to be closer to Barcelona.

It is way too soon to give our opinion with regards to the political acumen of Emmanuel Macron. We only can say he and his wife are a chic couple. Perhaps the best couple in the political world right now. As a result, this relationship deserves to be kept together for many years.

Does Hong-Kong belong to China???

Hong-Kong is a very special part of China. It is located in the south close to the sea. Hong-Kong is an autonomous region with special laws of its own. China does want to see Hong-Kong totally integrated into the country. (Read this in Spanish Hong-Kong )

Yet, the history, culture, and traditions of Hong-Kong make this special part of the world keep having a unique status. The independence of Hong-Kong is a relevant subject.

HONG-KONG AND GREAT BRITAIN

We already gave our opinion with regards to what it is the best for Britain. 

The latest news informs us that Boris Johnson has resigned. Furthermore, Theresa May has stated that "a No Deal is better than a bad deal". 

Both are reasonable and acceptable. The Economist magazine believes Britain might end up as Norway. I do not know but this whole Brexit issue can vanquish all the relevance Britain has always had.

I talk about Britain now because Hong-Kong is a former British colony. As a matter of fact, much of the current grandeur of Hong-Kong is because of Great Britain. English is an official language for instance. Likewise, the education in Hong-Kong is really similar to the education in Great Britain.

CHINA AND HONG-KONG

While we fully know what does happen in the rest of the world. We do not really know what takes place in China. Chinese people cannot vote and are not really free. This is why Hong-Kong must keep its independence. China does want to take control of Hong-Kong as has already done with other Chinese regions.   

However, this should never happen. Hong-Kong has one of the most important ports in the world. It is also an important financial place. Many claim that although you are in Asia, when you are in Hong-Kong you feel as to whether you were in Europe.  Hong-Kong has even its own currency. People can convey their opinion or buying the newspaper they wish. Having a region as Hong-Kong gives Asia a special feeling.

We already assure our readers that the meeting and friendship between Donald Trump and the North Korean dictator were positive. Notwithstanding this good news, protecting the independence and freedom of Hong-Kong is even better. Indeed, the state of Hong-Kong is utterly important not only for Asia but for the world.

The poor record with regards to democracy and human rights China does own makes Hong-Kong dazzle even more.

She has 3 children, Cynthia Nixon had a long heterosexual marriage. Yet, since 2012 she is a Lesbian and she is married to a woman (Christine Marinoni). A real change has come to New York and by extension to the world. At first, she was low at the polls but now she can be the new Governor of New York state. The first woman, bisexual and Lesbian governor.

New York has never had a woman as governor and Nixon, not only would be a wonderful New York governor, she may make women proud and make the state of New York dazzle again due to her superb campaign. Stephen Crane died at the kind age of 24 years, yet his body of work is collected in 12 volumes. In 8 productive years was able to publish two volumes of poetry, 5 novels or 300 short stories. Notwithstanding this productivity, this is nothing if compared to his real life.

Born in Newark, his rejected Christianity even though his dad was a preacher. What is more, her wife had been the owner of a brothel in Florida. At University, he spent more time gambling than studying, hence he left school.

He moved to New York City and studied the life of dangerous people in the worst part of New York at that time, The Bowery. This study resulted in a novel titled “Maggie, a girl from the streets”.

Given his skills as a writer, he was sent to the West and to Mexico to write about real events. Soon thereafter, he had to write about the Cuban revolution against the Spanish rule. However, the ship in which he had to travel sank, thereby; Stephen Crane spent 27 hours in a dinghy to survive, waiting to be rescued. This experience made him write a famous story “The open boat”.

A snowfall at the Pyrenees

I decided to stop writing the other day. I write daily but it can make you being far from reality, and this is not positive. As a result, I took a big suitcase and packed plenty of stuff to live an adventure. The location was going to be the Spanish Pyrenees, a unique place to say the truth. AN INCREDIBLE SNOWFALL AT THE PYRENEES

Despite we are in the middle of April, the weather informed me the sun was out for a whole week. I prepared myself to live the adventure accordingly, yet I did not expect what was coming. Indeed, an incredible snowfall started, it was so amazing even people from the Pyrenees did not know what to say.

Visiting the Pyrenees and being thereby away from the routine could be interesting. The problem was I did intend to run and doing exercise, but it was nearly impossible.

An incredible snowfall fell and plans changed consequently.

I was with my friend, Diane, who lives in the Pyrenees and her dog, Senshi, a Husky, This is dog comes from Siberia, Russia, hence she feels alive if snow falls. Diane read the final version of the manuscript as my new novel is going to be published very soon hopefully. However, the adventure we were going to live was even better.

We walked throughout the mountains while a heavy snowfall was falling, little light, nature in all its splendor and her joyful dog running swiftly. The whole experience was both frightening and amazing, thus it made me be alive and to pen this article.

Red Sparrow, Dominika Egorova, Jennifer Lawrence.

The last film I have seen at the movies is Red Sparrow. I do not really love actress Jennifer Lawrence. However, given her prominence (she stars a lot of movies every year) is nearly impossible to live without seeing a movie with her!!! (Read this in Spanish Dominika Egorova-Red Sparrow )

Despite she has been the protagonist of big Hollywood productions, Red Sparrow is a small budget film, a spy story, yet utterly interesting.

In fact,  Red Sparrow may be the best performance of Jennifer Lawrence to date. She is a poor ballerina who after having an accident cannot keep dancing. Therefore, Dominika Egorova, is recruited to become a Red Sparrow, a kind of female spy.

Only to see Jennifer Lawrence acting in this movie, Red Sparrow is a recommendable experience.  This is also because Jennifer Lawrence has to speak with a Russian accent.

The best for Ireland, the European Union and Great Britain

One of the worst episodes in recent history was the outcome of Brexit insofar as it has weakened Britain, Europe, and even Ireland. Nostalgia for a gone past in which Britain had a mighty empire was stronger than the reality of our world. Read this in Spanish Lo mejor para Irlanda, Reino Unido y la Unión Europea

As a result, it has created a dangerous precedent for nationalism inside Europe and a new reality nobody (nobody) knows how to face.

One of the idols of Halcombe comes from Ireland. I love the spectacle Irish fighter Conan McGregor renders. His shows promoting the fight of the century against Floyd Mayweather impressed me. 

He is a proud Irishman and as plenty of people, he would love to see Northern Ireland united in a single Ireland. Despite this is a matter of the past, the incredible outcome of Brexit referendum has brought this issue alive again.

Nobody wants to remember the pain and blood the Northern Ireland conflict brought to the world. However, Brexit is making this matter alive one more time. Brexit is currently being discussed. What is the best for Ireland, Great Britain, and Europe? A hard or a Soft Brexit? We have to remember that Ireland and Great Britain share a common border through Northern Ireland

THE UNITED KINGDOM

Unlike David Cameron, the current premier of the United Kingdom is not a leader. Theresa May does not look as a leader, but as a good politician. In fact, she has been working for the United Kingdom for decades, but always in the shadow. 

Although I like the personality and hubris of Boris Johnson, his tricks to remove his nemesis David Cameron from office, do not seem fair. What is more (or in other words, what is worst), the whole Brexit referendum was his idea, and the only purpose was to become premier of Great Britain.

Now, Europe, Great Britain and Ireland have a huge problem because of the ambition of a single politician, who besides, it is not the president of Britain. This is a little of a mess because Theresa May did not want to become president and the person who promoted Brexit is (and the problem about which I am writing) not even the president.

Jeremy Corbyn is not wholly respected inside his party and he is not young. However, he could be a good president as he is an expert Labour politician who knows how to restore the confidence and make the public sector alive. He can make making Great Britain fairer hence. Under the last governments, Britain has become an unfair democracy with plenty of rich foreigners and plenty of poor Britons.

 THE EUROPEAN UNION

One of the worst fears of Europe has become true, one of its members (perhaps the most iconic due to its history) Britain is to leave the European Union. However, perhaps is not too late and perhaps it can end well.

In fact, Great Britain may love to still be relevant and different having a special relationship with European Union in a soft Brexit. What is more, London may still be the financial sector that it is if a soft Brexit happens. 

Given the poor leadership of Theresa May, seeing how Boris Johnson promoted Brexit only for his selfish interest, a soft Brexit is mandatory and the best for everybody.

Furthermore, Theresa May should not be the president of David Cameron, she is, after all, a former member of David Cameron. 

A new president like Jeremy Corbyn can be a good idea to bring Britain alive again. What is more important, to have a good relationship with Ireland, European Union and fulfill a soft Brexit that can prevent other European countries from similar ideas but making Britain singular and special one more time.

A soft Brexit with Jeremy Corbyn as president of Great Britain and Boris Johnson as leader of the opposition (and Nigel Farage in politics again) might be in my opinion the best for Great Britain, Republic of Ireland and The European Union.
