I have read A History of Ancient Rome by British writer Mary Beard. This author is renowned. In fact, I watched a Television Series in which Mary Beard was talking about the Roman Empire. Furthermore, she won a royal award in Spain.

                                                     A History of Ancient Rome

The author has spent nearly 50 years studying the Old Roman Empire in order to write this book. We all know details regarding Ancient Rome but the positive aspect in this book is that Mary Beard explains everything in a deep tone with concrete examples.

This book tells of the creation of Rome until the emperor Caracalla concedes the Roman citizenship to all citizens of the Roman Empire.

This is a very well-written book and very interesting and I even felt pity when I was ending it. Mary Beard is dean at Cambridge University and she writes for The Times similarly.

A History of Ancient Rome is an extraordinary book that contains plenty of anecdotes, characters, details, and facts from Ancient Rome which will make you understand how important this world is.

I have always enjoyed the world of Ancient Rome, its emperors for instance, thanks to this reading I have learned a lot and this book is a good read.
