The second part of my novel "El Verano de Natalie Davis"

Something magical is happening with regards to my novel "El Verano de Natalie Davis" as I am writing the second part. 

THE SECOND PART OF MY NOVEL
I have started writing the second part of my novel. Remember the title of my novel is "El Verano de Natalie Davis" (The summer of Natalie Davis in English). I have written 20 new pages and I am happy with the result. So happy I am with the result that I have included these new 20 pages at the end of my last novel. Thereby, the end changes and now it is longer.

I changed the title from "El Verano de Natalie Davis" to "Natalie Davis" and I have sent it to different publishing Houses because it is now a different novel, a better one. I do not know if this is going to work out. In fact, one person advised me that If there is previously a similar novel, Publishing Houses perhaps do not like my idea.

Nonetheless, I am so happy writing that I do not know whether to write a second part o leave the book with a different end. Publishing Houses need time, yet I do not care about their opinion. Is it a mistake to publish the novel again with a different end? It is better to write a good second part? You should read these new pages, they are overlaid with emotion. In my opinion, my novel gains a lot now with these new pages and a different end.

To say the truth, I have stopped writing the exciting second part. This is because I want to know if Publishing Houses are interested in my idea. The novel has an open end and now it has a complete one with exciting new pages.

You may know my last book, (the third one, the second in Spanish (my second was in English)) was published last year. 

MAKING A MOVIE INSPIRED BY MY BOOK

I would love to see a movie adaptation of my book. To say the truth, I wrote the book thinking about a movie adaptation. What is more, there are multiple references to movies I love and I have watched. The main protagonist watches a good movie every night with her grandmother (you should read my novel, perhaps you love it).

FAMOUS FILMMAKERS-TWITTER

If only I could get some important readings!!! As a result, I thought to send my novel to famous filmmakers. We have some important in Spain (Pedro Almodóvar without going any further, has won two Academy Awards). Some are very international likewise.

I looked for 2 famous filmmakers on Twitter and I offered them my novel. One of them was J. A. Bayona and the second one is Álex de la Iglesia. None of them has answered my tweets but I felt great contacting them.

MOVIE PRODUCERS-LINKEDIN

Another thing I have done is to look for movie producers on Linkedin. There are a lot, but not all of them are rich and powerful or are interested in reading my novel. I got one person interested and I am going to send him my novel. This is positive and it is what I need. I need professional people who have influence and power and are interesting in the novel.

IN THE END

At least I obtained something positive. There is one professional filmmaker who made a movie set in my village and based on a novel. I contacted him and he wants to read the novel.

It would be magical if someone relevant reads and loves my novel, making a movie thereby. I know, I should have a literary agent to do this kind of tasks but I have not I am afraid.

I was filled with emotion contacting professional producers and famous filmmakers. However, I do not know if one day somebody will make a movie inspired by my book!!!
